Shelley,
Thank you for coming to Northern Arizona with your excellent art pieces. It was a delight to see your "break-out" forms of expression, all tied to the Earth, the biosphere, and maps in our new Anthropocene Era. I applaud your new 'vocabulary' for moving beyond flat forms into 'sculpted' canvasses that also contain vivid colors and hints of cryptic meaning from the world of human activity (maps and human impact on the planet). The forms themselves were alluring and the colors, textures, and hints of humanity made for a pleasing new synergism. *** And every home needs a few of your colorful biogenic spheres! With applause and best wishes, Ken Dr. Kennard B. Bork Sedona, AZ 86336 |
