What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience? The most rewarding facet of being an artist lies in the profound joy and fulfillment derived from sharing my creations with an audience. Art, to me, transcends mere self-expression; it becomes a means of establishing a connection, a dialogue, between the observer and the artwork. The true reward as an artist is found not just in the act of creation but in the shared moments, emotions, and connections that arise when my work becomes a part of someone else’s world. It is through this exchange that the impact of art extends beyond the canvas or sculpture, leaving a lasting imprint on hearts and minds. I have been commissioned by George Billis Gallery to create 30 unique artworks to be suspended in the 375 Hudson Street building in New York. Here is a small sample of what it will look like floating through the lobby. I will be installing the work March 2 and 3rd, 2024. If you are in New York, stop in and let me know what you think. A very exciting opportunity to create more public artworks. https://embracecreatives.com/outside-in-a-celebration-of-outdoor-art-objects/ Andrea Bogart and Erica Kimber curates the hottest trend in bringing outdoor furniture and art in doors. I will be exhibiting my new smaller works from the series 'Taking Flight' "Taking Flight" is a stunning and unique work of art that combines wire mesh, street banners, and sculpted wire to create a truly captivating piece. The way the banners are cut and woven through the wire mesh is masterfully done, creating an intricate and delicate design that is both visually striking and thought-provoking.What makes this artwork truly remarkable is the way it is mounted on the wall and suspended, giving the illusion that it is floating in mid-air. This adds an extra dimension to the piece and creates a sense of movement and dynamism that draws the viewer in and holds their attention. The attention to detail in "Taking Flight" is truly impressive, and it is clear that the artist has a deep understanding of the materials they are working with. The use of wire mesh and sculpted wire gives the piece a unique texture and depth, while the street banners add a touch of urban grittiness that contrasts with the delicate nature of the weaving.Overall, "Taking Flight" is a stunning work of art that showcases the artist's skill and creativity. It is a piece that demands to be seen in person, and is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who experiences it.
